    The RN 7, Route 66 "made in France"

    The route starts outside Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and continues as far as the centre of Lyon and then on through Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Fréjus, Cannes, Nice, before coming to an end at Menton. A total of 996 kilometres traversed by one of France's most famous highways and the inspiration for its popular road-themed game; "1000 Bornes". To travel on it is to take the opportunity to admire some of the country's most beautiful landscapes and see it in its most glorious diversity. Don't miss out on some spectacular detours to discover some of the country's hidden treasures.

    Where to sleep : at the hotelF1 in Varennes-Vauzelles (near to Nevers), Bourg-les-Valence (near to Valence), Vallauris (Antibes Sophia Antipolis, half-way between Fréjus and Menton).

    Tips :
    • Enjoy an excursion to the Chorégies in Orange (from mid-June to the start of August) and watch a show from the stands of the majestic Roman theatre.
    • Explore the interior of the vast Pope's Palace in Avignon, the largest Gothic building of the Middle Ages.
    • Visit Èze, one of France's loveliest villages, perched high, high, high above the sea.
