Heading westwards to the beaches of Morbihan

    Beach break

The land of the Arthurian legends and proud bastion of Breton culture, the Morbihan also boasts many fine sandy beaches along its broken coastline. The most famous include the Plage de la Mine d'Or or the beaches of Kerbihan or Magouëro. After that, there is nothing to compare with setting out for the islands of Groix, Houat and Belle-Île-en-Mer where, by foot or bike, you can reach open expanses of sand, cliffs and dunes, some of which are well hidden, to make your beach trip a real success.

Where to sleep : at the hotelF1 in Vannes and Caudan, which are particularly well placed for your trip.

    Tips :
    • Climb aboard an aquaculturalist's boat and discover oyster farms in the waters off the Pointe de Toulvern in the heart of the Golfe du Morbihan.
    • When high tide comes to Locmariaquer, go rock-pooling to find oysters, winkles, clams, etc.
